104 Steve Waugh has been involved in run-outs throughout his international career - 77 times in ODIs and 27 times in Tests, this is the most among all batsmen. Waugh had run out 31 times out of those 104 instances, while his partner was dismissed 73 times.Rahul Dravid is next on the list, having 101 instances run-out. Allan Border has been involved in the most run-outs -29 in Tests alone, and Mohammad Yousuf with 79 is the leader in ODIs. Mahmudullah tops the list in T20Is with 20.
73 Number of times Steve Waugh's partners have run out in his international career, which is 17 more than the next highest: Chanderpaul Shivnarine - 56 such instances. The partners of Waugh have run out in Tests for 23 times, and 50 times in ODIs. The remainder of this category's top five includes Sachin Tendulkar, Tillakaratne Dilshan (55 each), and Aravinda de Silva (51).
3.13 Ratio of the number of times the partners of Angelo Mathews have run out to the time in international matches, which is the highest of all cricketers involved in 30 or more run-outs in their careers. Mathews had been out for his partners 16 times compared to 50 such dismissals. In Tests (with a cut-off of 20 run-out instances), Waugh has the highest such ratio (5.8), having been run out for his partners only four times as compared to 23 such dismissals. Mathews leads the way in ODIs with a record of 34/8 (cut-off: 30) while Darren Sammy tops with a record of 10/1 in T20Is (cut-off: 10).
11.59 The percentage of partnerships in the international career of Wasim Akram that ended with a run-out – 74 out of 686, this is the highest rate among 125 batsmen involved in 500 or more partnerships in three formats. Alastair Cook is at the other end of this list, with just 1.54 per cent of his partnerships resulting in run-outs-13 out of 839.

Alex Obanda of Kenya tops the list of batsmen who were involved in the most run-outs without ever getting out in that fashion in all international crickets: he was involved in 8 run-outs, and his partner was dismissed each time.
12.17 The percentage of partnerships between Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid which ended in run-outs-19 out of 156, this is the highest of the 64 pairs who shared 100 partnerships or more. Ganguly was run out 7 times, and Dravid 12. The 19 run-outs between Ganguly-Dravid are also joint most by Sanath Jayasuriya and Marvan Atapattu (in 266 partnerships) in international cricket.
