The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) declared on Sunday, Aug. 29, that a winner from Manila City in Metro Manila had won the P5.94-million Lotto 6/42 jackpot reward alone.
The winning ticket was purchased in the National Capital Region's City of Manila.
21-25-41-02-17-29 was the winning combination.
On Saturday, Aug. 28, the regular Lotto 6/42 game yielded a total jackpot prize of P5,940,000.
Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, the 6/42 regular lotto is drawn.
According to the PCSO, rewards worth more than P10,000.00 are entitled to a 20% deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Act.
It said that "prizes not claimed by the public within one year from the date of the draw shall be considered forfeited," citing Republic Act No. 1169 or the PCSO Charter.
Meanwhile, the PCSO confirmed that the Grand Lotto 6/55, which had a jackpot value of P114,692,024.80, had no winner. 46-40-33-29-47-25 is the winning combination.
