The BCCI is keen to bring fans back to the stadium for the India-England T20I series that will commence from 12th March at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad.

A BCCI official told the media that while the board is looking to open the Ahmedabad stadium to fans, the final decision is still with the government.

The official disclosed that they are trying to open the stadium for fans to watch what awaits to be an exciting T20I series between England and India. The idea is to get up to 50% of the seats filled, while they have yet to decide on the numbers. But the final decision still depends on the government. Even as the people were adapted to the new normal, safety is still the priority.
