On Thursday, former India captain and BCCI President, Sourav Ganguly, was discharged from hospital.
Last Saturday, 48-year-old Sourav Ganguly was admitted to the hospital after complaining of chest pain, stayed an additional day after he was set to be discharged from hospital on Wednesday.
Last Saturday, he underwent angioplasty, and a nine-member team of doctors met on Monday to determine the future course of action for the treatment of Sourav Ganguly.
It was decided after consultation with noted cardiac surgeon Dr Devi Shetty that Sourav Ganguly can be discharged on Thursday, and the remaining angioplasty could be done at his discretion.
After being discharged from the hospital, Sourav Ganguly said that people say we come to hospital to get life back, and it really has been so. He is absolutely fine, hopefully will be able to fly in a short period of time.
