Sourav Ganguly, President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has agreed to extend his hospital stay by one more day. He would be discharged from the private hospital on Thursday instead of Wednesday as decided earlier.
After suffering a heart attack, Sourav Ganguly underwent angioplasty on Saturday at a private hospital in Kolkata. Earlier, Dr Devi Shetty, a noted cardiac surgeon, attended Sourav Ganguly on Tuesday.
Dr Devi Shetty disclosed that Sourav Gangul may need to do an angioplasty in the future, which is like a routine thing done in most hospitals in the nation, and it's nothing complicated or life-threatening. The angioplasty can be done at his discretion and whenever he is comfortable.
