The tour of Bangladesh has been approved by Cricket West Indies (CWI), subject to the finalisation of
the medical and logistical information under the Memorandum of Understanding of the tour.
Following a recommendation from the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) of CWI, the series was given the
go-ahead, having received a thorough report from the Bangladesh pre-tour visit by director and member of
CWI and ICC MAC, Dr Mansingh, and Paul Slowe, security manager.
CWI will continue talks to fine-tune the different arrangements with the Bangladesh Cricket Board and
the West Indies Players' Association in order to ensure the safety and health of the players and team
management.
The provisional tour schedule as below:
10th January: Arrival of West Indies team
18th January: One-Day warm-up game, BKSP, Savar
20th January: First ODI, SBNCS, Dhaka
22nd January: Second ODI, SBNCS, Dhaka
25th January: Third ODI, ZACS, Chattogram
28th - 31st January: Four-Day warm-up, M.A. Aziz Stadium, Chattogram
3rd - 7th February: First Test Match, ZACS, Chattogram
11th - 15th February: Second Test Match, SBNCS, Dhaka
