Acting CEO Kugandrie Govender suspended by interim board of CSA

Kugandrie Govender suspended

In a reflection of the ongoing chaos in the parent body, acting chief executive officer of Cricket South Africa Kugandrie Govender, was suspended on Monday by the interim board appointed last month.

The report of ESPN Cricinfo disclosed that Kugandrie Govender is the 2nd senior member of staff to be served notice of disciplinary proceedings against her by the interim board which was appointed last month. Besides that, Welsh Gwaza, company secretary is also facing a hearing.

Pholetsi Moseki, the Chief Financial Officer of the Board, has taken over as acting CEO. He is the 3rd person in 2020 to fill that position.
