Australia opener David Warner sufferers groin injury before the Test series against India

The participation of David Warner, Australia's opener in the remainder of the limited-overs series against India was thrown into question after he sustained a groin injury in the 2nd ODI match. After he struggled to get up after a dive in the 4th over of the Indian innings, David Warner hobbled off the field. Outside the Sydney Cricket Ground, a car was waiting to take the senior cricketer to a nearby hospital for scans.
Asked at the post-match presentation ceremony about David Warner's condition, Aaron Finch, Australian skipper said he was not aware of its seriousness but did not expect the southpaw to be available. After the 51-run triumph that gave the Australia side an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-ODI series, Aaron Finch said that there's no idea, he doesn't think he'll be available, and the team have to reshuffle it around.

It seems that David Warner will miss the 3rd and final ODI and even the following three-match T20 series, given the way he grimaced in pain after falling while diving to stop the ball. The T20 matches are scheduled to begin in Canberra on 4th December.
