Former Australia fast bowler Brett Lee donned on the predictor's hat with the opening match of IPL 2020 between defending champions Mumbai Indians and last year's runner-up Chennai Super Kings is around the corner. Brett Lee selected MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings as the winner of the IPL 2020 to be played in the UAE from 19th September.

Lee, who landed in Mumbai to be part of the host broadcasters of the IPL coverage, is now in isolation. The former Australia cricketer, who was known as one of the fastest bowlers during his time, had a Q&A session on Instagram with his fans.

Lee was asked by a fan to name the possible champions of IPL 2020, among several questions from both on and off the field. Lee answered with: "Hard to say but let’s go with CSK."

For not exactly the ideal reasons, Chennai Super Kings has been in the news lately. 13 members of their squad tested positive for Covid-19, which postponed their training session in Dubai. And two of their senior cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina decided to pull out of this season's tournament due to personal reasons.

However, the CSK management has maintained confidence in the current squad and has yet to appoint a replacement for either Raina or Dhoni.

CSK surely starts as one of the tournament's favourites with a squad led by one of India's most successful captains and a three-time IPL winner MS Dhoni.
