Diego Maradona started self-isolating on Tuesday, after a person he works closely with has symptoms of COVID-19.
Maradona, the coach of Argentina's top division Gimnasia y Esgrima team was self-isolating at home. Until the test results are known, he will remain in quarantine. There was no identification of the person with symptoms. On Friday, the football great turns 60.
Besides that, Marcelo Gallardo,coach of River Plate was also in quarantine at home, the club posted on Twitter. On Saturday, he was in close contact with a person who later tested positive for Coronavirus.
This week, the Argentinian Championship will resume. The competition was interrupted in March because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
